Competition Rules


Miss Sparkling Strawberry 2010 - Competition Rules
  1. This competition is open to customers of Sparkling Strawberry resident in England, Scotland and Wales only.
  2. Contestants must be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
  3. By entering this competition you agree to abide by these competition rules.
  4. Only one entry per month per contestant will be accepted.
  5. The competition opens at midnight on 31st August 2009 and closes at midnight on 31st August 2010.
  6. To enter this competition, contestants must provide:
    1. A good quality photograph of themselves, ideally in their Sparkling Strawberry outfit.
    2. Their full name, age, address, telephone number and email address.
    3. Evidence that they have bought from Sparkling Strawberry, e.g. purchase order number. (we can help if you have lost or forgotten this)
    4. Answers to the following:
      1. What is the real name of the Author of “Alice's Adventures in Wonderland”?
      2. What is your most original idea for a fancy dress costume party theme?
      3. Suggest a new motto for Sparkling Strawberry.
      4. Tell us in 100 to 200 words why you believe you should be crowned Miss Sparkling Strawberry 2010.
  7. By entering this competition you certify that you have the right to distribute the photograph you provide and grant Sparkling Strawberry Ltd permission to publish the photograph on websites and other media.
  8. Entries must be submitted via the www.sparklingcompetitions.com website or by post to Sparkling Strawberry Ltd, 2 Rue De Bohars, Tarporley, Cheshire, CW6 9HF
  9. All entries become the sole property of Sparkling Strawberry Ltd and may neither be acknowledged nor returned.
  10. Our Panel of Judges will choose one Miss Sparkling Strawberry finalist for each calendar month from the entries received in that month, between midnight on the first and last days of that month. The Miss Sparkling Strawberry finalist for September 2009 will be announced in October 2009, and so on.
  11. Contestants may become a finalist only once. 
  12. The winner of the competition will be chosen from the 12 monthly finalists in September 2010 and announced by 30th September 2010.
  13. The decision of the Panel of Judges will be final.
  14. The finalists and winner will be notified by email, phone and/or letter in accordance with the contact details provided.
  15. Finalist’s and winner's details will be displayed on the www.sparklingcompetitions.com website.
  16. Finalists will win a £60 voucher to spend at www.sparklingstrawberry.com
  17. Miss Sparkling Strawberry 2010 will win twelve £60 vouchers to spend at www.sparklingstrawberry.com plus a professional photo shoot worth £300 to be selected and organized by Sparkling Strawberry Ltd. Travelling and subsistence expenses to the photo shoot will not be paid.
  18. All finalist’s and winner’s vouchers must be spent by 31st October 2011.
  19. Sparkling Strawberry Ltd reserves the right to publish the names and pictures of all those who enter this competition.
  20. No alternative prizes are available and the prizes are not transferable.
  21. The finalists and winner may be invited to participate in non-paid publicity accompanying or resulting from this competition.
  22. Entries that contravene these rules will be disqualified.
  23. Employees and contractors of Sparkling Strawberry Ltd are not eligible to enter.
  24. This competition is subject to the laws of England.
  25. These rules may be updated, changed or added to at anytime and without notice. Please review these rules before you act on them.
